Booboo and Squirt is a family run business which launched in November 2009. We had dreamed about having are own business for years and even tested the waters a few times with different ideas, but when it came down to deciding on what we were most passionate about was are children.
The name of are company may be a little bit different but the name to us is very special, after weeks of deciding what to call our company it finally came to us. Why not name it after the two people that matter the most, we decided to name the business after our children’s nicknames which makes the company much more personal. With the help of a local design company we then created two beautiful and fun characters.
We love role play toys for are children we believe that a child’s play experience helps them develop and build confidence; I used to love watching my daughter play with her pretend kitchen and pretending to cook us all dinner, it was lovely. Whist our daughter is no longer playing with her pretend kitchen she now loves cooking for real especially baking biscuits.
We know as parents that children love to role play and that’s why we have brought some fantastic brands online like Melissa & Doug whose products are beautifully designed and children have endless hours of play with these products.
Are mission is to bring you a beautiful range of toys and gifts that children will love to play with. We aim to be able to deliver fabulous gifts for all ages, from pretend play kits to real baking accessories.
Children don’t realise how lucky they are, and we are all at fault in trying to grow up to quick, we are firm believers in that children should be children and they should be able to enjoy their childhood by playing with inspirational & educational toys.
It’s certainly been an experience in getting this business off the ground but with wonderful friends and family we are now beginning to grow are brand and we hope that you will join us on are journey.
